May 9, 2008 CommentsPrintEmail The Greeley Assistance League will host the third annual Children in the Gardens at the G.M. Houston Gardens Saturday for children 3-7 years old.
The event will be at from 9 a.m. -noon Saturday at the gardens, 515 23rd Ave. Children will be able to make a nature name tag, plant a garden in a bucket to take home and learn map reading skills, among other activities. Parking will be available at the Boys and Girls Club near 23rd Avenue and 4th Street.
According to a release, the assistance league offers the event to promote literacy, geography, art and horticulture.
