Free recycling available on Earth Day

Free recycling will be available in downtown Greeley on Earth Day.

National Recycling will accept items to be recycled from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday in front of the Rio Grande Restaurant, 825 9th St.

Items that may be recycled include: office paper of any color, phone books, junk mail, newspapers, magazines, paperboard, cardboard, clear plastic bottles, glass bottles and aluminum cans.

Any documents that need to be shredded will be taken to National Recycling’s warehouse, 19009 on Colo. 392 in Lucerne. Certificates of document destruction will be provided after files have been shredded. There is a charge of 10 cents per pound.
